ABC Phonics Game

A says /a. B says /b. C says /c. Do you know what sounds the other letters of the alphabet make? Try completing the whole ABC board. Trace the most letters to win.

This printable activity allows your child to play again and again. There are also two ways to play to help your child learn the sounds the letters make.

Game Play:

Game # 1: Pick a picture from the table. Say the name of the picture out loud. Place the picture on the letter that makes the beginning sound of the word. Continue until the board is complete.

Game #2: Pick a picture from the container. Say the name of the picture out loud. Trace the letter on the board that makes the beginning sound of the word with yours special colored marker. Put the letters back into the container. Take turns. If a letter is already traced don't trace over it. Continue until all the letters are traced. Each player counts the number of letters they trace. The player who traced the most letters wins.
